About BotSorter
BotSorter checks website traffic for bots and sets up protection that keeps search engines and ad crawlers allowed.
Why we built it
We kept seeing the same pattern on online stores: a bot wave slows the server, someone switches on an aggressive anti-bot setting, and a few weeks later pages start dropping out of Google because Googlebot was challenged along with the bots. Enterprise bot management would solve it, but costs thousands a month. Freelancers usually flip the same switches without looking at the data.
BotSorter sits in between. We read your traffic first, then write rules that keep verified crawlers allowed, and check the result afterwards.
Who is behind it
BotSorter is run by Andriy Levchuk, an SEO specialist who works on technical SEO and analytics for online stores and service businesses. Every guide on this site is written by him.
How we handle your data
We work through read-only access you can revoke at any time, keep tokens only as long as the job needs them and never sell or share your data. The details are in the privacy policy.
