Bot protection setup, done for you
We analyze your traffic, write firewall rules that stop bad bots and verify that Googlebot, Bingbot and AdsBot still get through. One-off, $100, for any site behind Cloudflare.
Signs you need this
- The server slows down or returns errors at night or at random hours, while real traffic is flat.
- GA4 shows waves of Direct sessions from countries you do not sell to, with almost no engagement.
- Search Console reports crawl errors or a drop in crawled pages after someone changed a security setting.
- Competitors copy your prices or content within hours.
What we do
- Break down up to 30 days of traffic by source, network, user agent and hour.
- Separate verified crawlers, real visitors and bad bots, and find what loads your server.
- Write the rules: a skip for verified search and ad crawlers first, then blocks, challenges and rate limits for the rest.
- Apply them, or send them with explanations for you to paste.
- Check again 2 to 3 days later that the load dropped and search crawlers get normal responses.
What you get
- A report with each bot episode: when, from where, how much load, and what stopped it
- The rule set with a plain-English explanation of every rule
- A crawler access check for Googlebot, Bingbot and AdsBot after the change
- Recommendations for your Cloudflare plan and settings, including what to do about AI crawlers
Price
$100 one-off per site. Your Cloudflare plan is billed separately by Cloudflare. If you want the rules kept up to date afterwards, add monitoring.
FAQ
Do you need full access to my Cloudflare account?
No. Analysis needs a read-only token for one site. To apply rules for you, a second token that can only edit firewall rules for that site is enough, or you paste the rules yourself.
What if a rule blocks real customers?
We start new rules in a challenge mode where it makes sense, watch the results and adjust. Rules that skip verified crawlers always come first.
Does this work on the Cloudflare Free plan?
Yes. The Free plan has fewer custom rules and coarser bot controls, and we design the rule set within those limits.
